La Sonja Jordan Henderson, or “LJ”, as many affectionately call her, is a native of Monroe, Louisiana. She has a deep love and concern for children, fostered by her work as an educator and speech therapist that has spanned the last twenty years. She earned an undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders from Texas Southern University. Under the tutelage of Dr. Thomas F. Freeman, she received recognition for a 1st Place victory in International Debate in Munich, Germany as well as a second place award for debate in Paris, France. Mrs. Henderson holds two Masters degrees one from Houston Baptist University and the other from California State University Northridge.

Sahil Patel graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering. Born and raised in Missouri City, Texas get code »you could look here, he has always had a passion for community outreach and teaching younger kids and worked with students while in college through UTEACH . In his free time you can find Sahil listening to music, cooking with his girlfriend, and supporting his Houston Texans, Rockets, and Astros.

My name is Sade Oville. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Lamar University and my Master’s of Arts degree at University of Houston-Main Campus in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading and Language Arts. I have taught elementary education in Title 1 schools for seven years. I am a Certified Early Childhood-Fourth Grade teacher, Certified Early Childhood-12th Grade Reading Specialist, and Certified English as a Second Language  Supplemental teacher EC-12th grade. I have a deep passion for educating early childhood learners and I am a strong advocate for hands-on active learning

Essynce Henderson is a graduate of the Health Sciences department at Alabama State University. Essynce enjoys mentoring youth of all ages and playing with her dog Kody. Essynce’s future plans are to become a Dean at a college/university for the College of Health Sciences.

Ashley Greer

Curriculum Coordinator

Ashley Greer is a desktop support technician who is responsible for working with others to setup desktop and laptops, installing company software and troubleshooting problems, also provides regular maintenance for front end users including, replacing computer equipment, keyboards, motherboards and other computer equipment. Alongside the technical support, Ashley also works as a childcare provider with two years of experience at an Early childhood learning center. Ashley is a hard-working young adult, who’s leadership, work ethic, and self-sufficient abilities will furthermore her understanding and capabilities to reach the goal of success. Ms. Ashley plans to help each child develop their own different learning styles. She will continue to bring her exciting, uplifting, and loving personality that all the kids and parents love!! I enjoy photography/video photography, and plan to expand my knowledge a little more in that area.

My name is Alwin Kristy and I am 22 years old. I enjoy working with children that I have decided to pursue it as an early childhood teacher. My favorite subject is science and have always loved biology and doing experiments. I am a part of a great team of instructors that have a passion to help children succeed. I hope to help students love science as much as I do and see it as a fun and creative subject.
